A Houston general contractor bought solidly into sustainable design by means of incorporating green principles in its novel 22,000-sq.-ft. headquarters.
SpawGlass Construction began planning for its of the present day headquarters in May 2002 after finding a buyer for its former building, which it had to vacate on December. It commissioned Houston-based architect Kirksey, which actively stir ups green building design.
"We made the business case [for sustainable design]," says Kirksey VP Brian Malarkey. The architect performed life revolution of time costing and developed an efficiency model of building. ...
