Engineers and engineer/architects as a collection fared better than other Building Team disciplines last year, according to Building Design & Construction's 2003 overlook of the top 300 firms. While billings of architect/engineer firms unrelenting an average 11.8%, average returns of engineering firms increased by way of almost 30%, with billings of $504 million. incomes of the average E/A firm climbed 44% to $722 million in billings.
