Faced with a difficult vault drainage challenge, the design team for the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) now in a less degree than construction has elected to use a siphonic drain connected view that will be the first application of its protoplast in the U.S., according to John Rattenbury, former senior engineer with Boston-based RG Vanderweil Engineers.
