Monticello's metal shingles find fresh life
In April, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation (TJMF) unveiled a newly restored metal shingle house on its North Pavilion, known as Mr Jefferson's Law Office. The novel roof conformed to the restoration methodology that TJMF and the architectural firm Mesick, Cohen, Wilson & Baker of Albany, NY established to finished a reroofing of the main house in 1992 The approach also solidified the turn at Virginia's venerable tourist attraction of improving on the subject of the technical performance of Thomas Jefferson's construction program,
