The character of a 79-year-old industrial building is retained as it is adapted for pharmaceutical research operations
An adaptive reuse concoct that has transformed a 79-year-old factory building in Cambridge, Mass., into a high-tech research facility also has enhanced its early 20th hundred years roots. The 100-ft. by 90-ft mode of building is one of the best remaining examples of an early industrial building with a reinforced firm frame--a technology that was evolving when the building was complet in 1920 according to Margo Webber, the project's historic preservation consultant.
