The novel $32 million Terminal One at John F Kennedy International Airport in just discovered York City is a meditation in spatial complexity --straight lines that intersect 1s inclined walls, broad arches, strangely angled corners and a swooping canopy over an expansive interior.
"We wanted the building to expres flight, and you can't do that with a rectilinear structure" said William Bodouva, principal with plan architect New York-based architect William Nicholas Bodouva and Associates.
