A of the present day music library fits snugly into the courtyard of Yale's main library

For 20 years, Yale University searched for a suitable site for its music library. Housed for years in the university's 82-year-old music teach the music library collection had outgrown its space through the early 1970s. by dint of the early 1990s, its materials were housed in at least four different campus buildings.
