Regional mall holders are changing their tenant mixes and seeking recently made known images to stay competitive

With heightened competition for tenants and consumer regional mall proprietors are in trouble.

In any cases, owners are finding themselves short forward both consumers and tenants. "The number of potential in-line mall tenants has been in decline for several years," said Gary Farmer, senior vice president with LaSalle Partners, a Chicago-based retail estate firm and mall developer Farmer attributes the decline partly to the resurgence of department stores.
