Commercial, industrial and institutional (nonresidential) construction spending began 1998 forward a weak note, but education construction again anticipates to be a top performer for the market. In the first four month of the year, spending for education construction rose 56 percent through the whole extent of the same period a year earlier. During the same period, spending for all nonresidential construction rose just 14 percent and the total institutional construction sector gained a retiring 1.2 percent.
