The 65 million-sq.-ft. headquarters will be upgraded, wedge on wedge, in a program to be complet by the agency of 2008

The Pentagon, the world's largest low-rise office building, is receiving the first major renovation in its 56-year history.

During a program that will focus sequentially upon each of the building's five "wedges," the building will be upgraded to suited current infrastructure, accessibility and manliness use standards, and original deficiencies will be corrected. Construction work began in 1993 with the construction of a strange heating and refrigeration plant.
