In an effort to improve the performance and safety of standing seam archs used on pre-engineered buildings, several joint research programs according to the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) and the American Iron and mail Institute (AISI) are under way, according to W to leeward Shoemaker, director of research and engineering for MBMA.
