After faltering in the late 1980 plans have been revived to redevelop the site of the recent York Coliseum on Manhattan's Columbus Circle.

Nine developer/design teams have submitted proposals for the 3.4-acre site, which is located immediately southwest of Central Park. chiefly of the schemes call for a combination of retail and residential uses. near also include a hotel and up to 12 million square feet of office space. If built, the offices would be among the first to rise in Manhattan in 10 years.
