In the wake of the April 19 bombing of the Alfred Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, President Clinton has directed Attorney General Janet Reno to overlook a security review of buildings occupied at federal agencies. The review will be coordinated according to the Office of the U Marshall, which will work with 26 major agencies that take up 8,200 individual facilities. An initial assessment of overall security at these locations is reckon uponed to be completed in 30 to 45 days, and a more detailed assessment in 90 to 120 days.
