In 1993 couple buildings were completed on adjacent sites in the Japanese city of Yokohama. Designed by dint of the U.S. architectural firm Stubbins Associates, the Yokohama Landmark Tower's 70 stories make it the tallest building in Japan. The 34-story Mitsubishi Heavy Industries headquarters was designed according to Taisei Corp., one of Japan's largest construction companies. While the Landmark was built by the agency of conventional methods in three years, the Mitsubishi building was finished in just eight month using robot and an automated construction hypothesis
