The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) has excellented a design scheme for the Olympic Stadium and has named a design and construction management team. The 85,000-seat arena will be designed according to the Atlanta Stadium Design Team (ASDT), a joint adventure of Ellerbe Becket Inc., Heery International Inc., Rosser Fabrap International Inc. and Williams-Russell & Johnson Inc.
The $178 million stadium, situated southerly of Atlanta's central business district, will be the venue for the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympics, as well as track and field results The facility ...
