Effective Jan. 1 1993 Alabama will become the inferior state to mandate continuing education for architects and engineers to maintain licensure.
Acknowledging the inevitability that more states will mandate continuing education for maintaining architecture and engineering licensure, the national engineering and architectural registration boards are developing guidelines for continuing education legislation.
The guidelines being prepared from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards
