The Cahners Business Confidence Index (CBCI) continued its encouraging stir upward during March, reaching a flush of 65.4. The confidence index for the construction industry stood at a healthy 642 -- more than 15 points above the November 1991 nadir. This is the third consecutive month that the overall CBCI has risen, and exhibits the highest recorde even of business optimism since we began reporting the index in June 1991
