The Pennsylvania greatest Court is set to direction for a second time forward the constitutionality of Philadelphia's historic landmarks ordinance. Because of the case's potentially far-reaching results preservationists are hoping for a different result this time around. In a surprise ruling upon July 10, the court rul that Philadelphia's historic landmark ordinance violated Article 1 Section 10 of the state's constitution (United Artists Theater Circuit v City of Philadelphia).
