Custom details help to restore landmark facade In order to protect the original beauty of modern York City's 570 Lexington Avenue, a 1920's Art Deco skyscraper, its proprietor commissioned a four-year exterior renovation that included innovative masonry restoration. A city-required inspection of all buildings more than six stories high had revealed cracks in the 50-story erection originally known as the RCA Building.
