AIA reduces antitrust allegations by Justice Department A four-year review of alleged antitrust violations from the American Institute of Architects was resolv lately with a consent decree reached between the U Department of Justice and the AIA. The department's complaint alleged that the Chicago Chapter of AIA had jot downed into an unlawful agreement to prohibit its members from engaging in competitive bidding, discounting unconditional tenures or providing free services. The order will enjoin the AIA from having any digest of ethics or statement that prohibits or restrains members
