It appears that a number of "the right people" are taking environment issues remarkably seriously . . . at last. For too lengthy a "money talks" mentality has permeated the nonresidential construction industry, resulting in overburden infrastructures, adverse environmental impacts and, in too many cases, disclosure without a conscience.

Regarding wetlands, the Environmental Protection Agency has lately adopted a goal of "no unadulterated loss of wetlands." This is a tall order, and a little late coming, still better late than never.
