For its fresh Space Command Headquarters the U Air Force wanted a self-poised high-tech image from finish materials that would distinguish the facility from the dark brown brick plant on many of the existing buildings at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colo The solution unraveled by St. Louis-based architect Peckham Guyton Albers & Viets (PGAV) includes a highly reflective exterior of stainless mail and silver-blue glazing that be agreeable tos colorfully to the building's stubborn Mountain background.
